General Administration
The movement is sustained by a central organisation. Persons from the base volunteer to take up specific responsibilities and tasks to do internal work to maintain the movement or external work on behalf of the movement. Different committees are formed for different scopes of work that the movement wants to be done. Each such committee is headed by a Secretary, who is responsible for directing the work that falls under the committee’s scope.
The heads of all the committees together form the Secretariat, which is headed by the First Secretary, assisted by a Second Secretary. They are responsible for ensuring that the different executive committees function together. They may issue directives to set temporary priorities or to improve the standards of work being carried out.

We are an independent and self-funded organisation. We do not receive funding from any other organisation, the private sector, or the government. All of our routine expenses are covered by contributions made by our membership base. We may raise funds for specific projects, but the scope and direction of these projects are decided by our own members and are not influenced by any external sponsors.

LANDS is a political movement formed by people exercising their constitutional right to freedom of association. We are currently unincorporated, but we are seeking to become incorporated as a legal entity by some time in or before 2024.
This section of the website is still in development. It will be updated with information on policies that govern the organisation, especially directives issued or enforced by the Secretariat.
